Johnny Depp's runaway smash Pirates
of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest grossed $15.7M on Tuesday,
its fifth day of release, to push its total to a jaw-dropping $169.5M.
The Disney blockbuster dropped 13% from its potent Monday take and is on
course to reach the vicinity of $195M by the end of its first week in theaters.
Pirates is off to the second best five-day
start of any film in box office history just behind the $172.8M of Star
Wars Episode III from last summer.
